The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is a FREE drop-in space where middle and high school youth ages 13-17 can access cutting-edge technology, explore and express themselves artistically in the Center. Youth are welcome to explore and learn about:

  • Graphic Design
  • Robotics
  • Film Production
  • 3D Imaging
  • Music Production
  • Photography
  • And more!

The drop-in program has been developed in collaboration with
The Clubhouse Network (funded by Best Buy).

The Design Studio

Summit Academy's Best Buy Teen Tech Center, in partnership with RSP Architects, is offering a challenging and exciting program where teens can learn about architecture, urban design and future STEM careers. The first group starts on June 22 with an 8-week program, meeting every Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. (now full).

At the Design Studio, teens have an opportunity to experience:

  • Field Trips
  • Guest Speakers
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality
  • 3D Modeling and Printing
  • Drone Mapping
  • Competitions
  • And more!

The next session begins in the Fall as a 16-week program (limited to 15 students).

Summit Academy’s Best Buy Teen Tech Center is hosting its 2nd Annual Rap Challenge and we’re looking for talented middle and high school students to put their rap skills to the test!

Cash prizes:
  • First place = $500
  • Second place = $250
  • Third place = $100
How to participate:
  • Step 1: Like and follow the Best Buy Teen Tech Center on Instagram @bbttc_summitoic and Facebook @BBTTCSAOIC
  • Step 2: Rap about your experiences over the past year and submit your rap by June 11, 2021 via direct message (DM). All LYRICS MUST BE CLEAN (no drugs, sex, guns or violence)
