The Beast Mobile Innovation Lab

The Beast Mobile Innovation Lab is a mobile classroom on a double-decker bus designed to innovate learning experiences through hands-on STEM education and programming. These experiences are centered in principles of Maker Education, while creating “sandbox experiences” that cultivate creativity, innovation, mastery and exploration. Students have an opportunity to learn and engage with a series of modules and lessons, including:

  • Circuit and Renewable Energy
  • Drones
  • 3D Printing
  • Scientific Inquiry Labs

Additional features include:

  • Computers and WiFi Internet access
  • Student tutors from local colleges
  • Volunteer facilitators from Target Tech Kids
  • Self-directed activities
  • And more!
